Recently Japan and the UK have established a new trade agreement, which
hopefully will be providing great business opportunities for companies in
both countries.
One potential stumbling-block is the language barrier.
This is where I can come in to help!
I lived in Japan for nearly nine
years and speak fluent Japanese, and have had more than 40 years’
experience of interpreting both for Japanese and British clients. While
much of my experience has been in the TV industry, I have interpreted in a
number of different fields: social work, youth work, care for the elderly,
care for the disabled, education, medicine, business negotiations: you
name it, I’ve probably done it!
Barring Covid restrictions I am happy to
travel anywhere and have a 7-seater Toyota Estima people-carrier which I
can provide to transport clients around if necessary. Alternatively I can
attend any Zoom meetings etc involving dialogue between British and
Japanese colleagues.
Please feel free to contact me should you require
any further information.
